KARACHI In connection with the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Pakistan Fashion Council (FPC) has announced the postponement of the annual Pakistan Fashion Week event until 2020 until further notice.
The three-day fashion event was previously planned for April 9-11 in Karachi. The decision on the postponement is made as a result of the spread of the coronavirus and the precautions taken by the local authorities to guarantee social distance.
FPC President Mahin Khan said: “During the global pandemic, we will assess the situation later in the year due to the postponement of Pakistan Fashion Week until 2020. We inform our designers and sponsors who agreed with our decision. and together we will re-evaluate later this year. “
The Fashion Pakistan Council is a national designer body that organizes bi-annual Fashion Pakistan Week Spring / Summer and Fashion Pakistan Week Winter F Holiday events.
