Coronavirus: Five More Established Shelters in Lahore

Due to the new coronavirus threat, the number of temporary homes in Lahore increased on Wednesday. According to details, the Punjab government built five more temporary homes in the Punjab provincial capital due to fear of the coronavirus.

The number of shelters in Lahore has reached ten, currently five permanent and five temporary. 779 people remained in shelters. The federal government is considering creating around 1,000 houses in the country in one year.

This was announced in a statement earlier this month by Prime Minister Imran Khan’s coordinator for shelters, Nasimur Rehman. It should be noted that the number of Pakistani patients with coronavirus exceeded 1000.

Of the total number of new coronavirus cases, 413 in Sindh, 296 in Punjab, 115 in Baluchistan, 80 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 78 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been recorded, while those 15 people were diagnosed with a deadly virus in the federal capital Islamabad and one in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
