Former Pakistan cricket team captain and superstar Shahid Afridi launched a ration distribution campaign in Karachi on Wednesday amid a coronavirus outbreak. The Shahid Afridi Foundation distributed ration bags to people in need in the Jamali Goth area of Karachi. The ration bags consist of food and soap.
The foundation also distributed awareness brochures to people. In a tweet, cricket star Shahid Afridi urged people to stay home and save the lives of others. He urged citizens to follow government directives on the coronavirus.
In response to a Twitter follower, Shahid Afridi said that humanity is bigger than anything else. He emphasized the need for collective efforts to combat the coronavirus.
