PESHAWAR – The Zalmi Foundation has announced a donation of Rs 10 million to the Crown Relief Fund, established by Prime Minister Imran Khan on the Monday after the outbreak.
Javed Afridi, president of the Foundation, said the donation was made “with the hope and confidence that all Pakistanis can lead the country’s success in this war in times of great difficulty.”

Last week, Afridi, who also leads the PSL Peshawar Zalmi league, recorded a message on Pashto and urged people to stay home and wash their hands repeatedly as part of an awareness campaign about COVID-19, a deadly virus that it is damaging the world.
Head coach Darren Sammy, Captain Wahab Riaz and players like Hassan Ali and Imam ul Haq gave special messages about coronavirus awareness.
