Prime Minister Imran Khan reorganized the federal cabinet on Monday after the FIA’s investigation report found that PTI leaders are involved in a sugar and wheat crisis that has seriously affected Pakistan.
According to the new decision, the Federal Minister of National Security and Food Research, Khusro Bakhtiyar, resigned from his post as Minister and is now appointed Minister for Economic Affairs, replacing Hammad Azhar.

Azar was appointed as a portfolio of industries, Azam Swati became Minister for Drug Control. Babar Avan was appointed Parliamentary Advisor, replacing Swati.
The resignation of Khalid Makbul Siddiki from the post of federal minister was accepted, and Amin-ul-Haq from MQMP was appointed federal minister of communications.
However, the adviser to Prime Minister Imran Khan on the settlement of Shehzad Arbab was removed from his post.
Similarly, Abdul Razak Dawood, an adviser to the prime minister on trade, textiles, industry, manufacturing and investment, was also removed from his post, sources in Geo News said. However, it was unclear whether another position had been assigned to him.
