SBP Launches Helpline to Resolve Complaints During COVID-19

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has taken additional measures to alleviate bank customers facing emergency problems stemming from the country’s coronavirus situation.

They can now contact SBP through its hotline 021-111-727-273 if banks do not respond to their requests or complaints, the central bank said in a statement Monday.

According to SBP, a helpline will be available during business hours. He called on the public to use digital payment services as often as possible to help banks provide their services with a minimum of staff to ensure their safety.

SBP also drew attention to phone calls to bank customers by scammers seeking personal information, taking advantage of the current situation.
