Warning Issued to Indians Working With Pakistani Artists

The Federation of Western Indian Sun Employees (FWICE), the largest film industry organization in India, urges Indian artists not to work with Pakistanis.

A press release issued by the FWICC warns all its members not to do any work, including digital platforms, with Pakistani actors, singers and technicians.

The Sun Western Sun Workers’ Federation complained that some Indian artists have recently been working with Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

The press release says that some participants are preparing new projects with Pakistani artists.

The Indian organization warned that strict measures will be taken against any Pakistani artist or singer who does any work.

Pakistani artists are understood to have been banned from working in India after the attack on the Indian army in occupied Kashmir in 2016.

In 2018, FWICE banned Pakistani artists and technicians from doing any work on Indian movies and dramas.
