ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Thursday that the situation in Pakistan regarding the coronavirus and related responses is “much better” than in other countries.
Prime Minister Imran said the actual number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan is less than the forecast for April 30. “We imposed a ban when we had 26 cases, and the public also collaborated with us.
“When Pakistan is compared to other countries, our situation is much better. We assume that our hospitals were already full, but our situation is much better, ”he said.
The prime minister said he spoke to Hassan Rouhani and Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the presidents of Iran and Egypt, respectively.
“Iran has decided to close large meetings, such as weddings and schools, and open all companies,” said the prime minister. “They also fear that their loss due to unemployment is greater than that of a coronavirus.
The Cairo leadership, “he said,” decided on the first day to block large meetings, but they tried to provide construction work. ”
“Egypt and our calculation are the same, and its economic condition is similar to ours. Our location was much stricter than theirs, but the mortality remained the same. ”
“We decided to share our experience in the future,” added Prime Minister Imran, noting that his team of ministers knew that daily gambling, workers, waiters, and taxi drivers would be “the most affected” of all.
“I would like to congratulate Dr. Sanya [Nishtar] on the Ehsaas program. This is a moment of pride for us!
