international women’s day 2017

Essential Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economical, cultural and political successes of girls. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating sexuality parity.

International Women’s Working day (IWD) has been noticed since in the early on 1900’s – a time of great expansion and turbulence in the developing world that saw flourishing population growth and the rise of radical ideologies. International Women’s Day is a common day of global celebration and a call for gender parity. No person government, NGO, charity, corporation, academic institution, could network or media centre is solely in charge of World Women’s Day. Many organisations declare a gross annual IWD theme that supports their particular agenda or cause, and many of these are adopted more widely with relevance than others.

“The story of women’s struggle for equal rights belongs to not one feminist nor any one organisation but to the collective efforts of all who worry about human being rights, ” says standard-setter feminist, journalist and cultural and political activist Elegancia Steinem. Thus International Ladies Day is all about unity, celebration, reflection, advocation and action – whatever that looks like worldwide at an area level. Although one thing is perfect for sure, International Women’s Day has been occurring for well over a century – and continue’s to increase from strength to power.
