Shah Rukh Khan unveils wife Gauri Khan’s Role in Designing ‘Mannat’

King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan recently unveiled the role Gauri played to design their Mannat residence.

Khan shared that it was his dream house. However, he was not able to afford it initially, but somehow he still bought it.

 

He further revealed how his Mannat residence kick started wife Gauri Khan’s career as an interior designer.

The Pathaan actor stated: “When we bought Mannat, it was way beyond our.. being from Delhi, one was used to living in bungalows. But in Mumbai, apartments are even more expensive. As soon as we mustered up some money, we managed to buy this bungalow.”

“It was beyond our means, but we bought it. We didn’t have the money to design it then. We called a designer and the money that the person quoted was beyond my salary.”

Khan, 57, added: “So I asked Gauri to design it. That’s how the journey started. We build the house by buying all the small things needed to build a house. It took a while, but we did it.”

“For her, to do this at such a young age also helped her to learn. For me, now it’s very nice that I don’t have to look for another designer. It’s easier to discuss what we want. We want things to be clean and nice.”

Work wise, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up to play lead in Atlee’s Jawan. Meanwhile, he is also looking forward to mark his first collaboration with the PK director Rajkumar Hirani in upcoming film Dunki, reports Pinkvilla.

Taylor Swift’s gal pals Gigi Hadid and Lily Aldridge were seen enjoying her Eras tour concert in Nashville with her rumored love interest, Matty Healy.

The 1975 singer seems to have won the approval of Taylor’s inner circle, with Gigi seen throwing her arms around his shoulders as they watched Taylor storm the stage at Nashville.

Matty, along with Gigi and Lily was seen enjoying the concert in a star-studded VIP booth. The singer held his heart as he sang along to Taylor.

Winning over Taylor’s girl’s squad is in Matty’s favor as they all unfollowed her now ex Joe Alwyn on Instagram following a girl’s night with Taylor in New York.

Taylor Swift, Matty Healy excited to announce romance in singer’s upcoming concert

Taylor Swift and her new beau Matty Healy are “excited” to announce their romance publically in her upcoming concert.

The Anti-Hero hitmaker and The 1975 frontman reportedly “coming out” on-stage during the singer’s forthcoming show in Nashville amid her Eras tour.

Healy will perform two of Swift’s songs as he will appear on stage as a guest just like she did when she sang two 1975 numbers at their London concert back in February.

“Taylor and Matty have been planning their ‘coming out’ for a few weeks now, and are really excited just to go public with their love,” a source told The Sun.

“Neither of them wants any secrets, or to hide away. The plan is for Matty to walk out on stage mid-show and play two songs,” the insider said.

“They will chat to the audience and, at present, the idea is for them to confirm their romance with some kind of PDA — a public display of affection. It won’t be anything remotely cheesy though.”

This comes a week after it was revealed that Swift has moved on with the musician after parting ways with Joe Alwyn.

Earlier this week, an insider close to the superstar told the publication, “She and Matty are madly in love. It’s super-early days, but it feels right.”

The source said Swift and Healy were romantically involved with each other almost ten years ago but it was a “very brief” relationship but “timings just didn’t work out” for the duo then.
