Onshore wildcat is delivering to Oil and Gas Development Company Limited.
The state-owned Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has discovered gas through its wildcat Umair South East-1 situated in the Guddu Block in Ghotki District in Sindh province. It is located on the shore of its homeland, Pakistan.
The highly successful Umair South East-1 exploration well, which was the first to be drilled in a new area, was designed to test the potential for hydrocarbons in the Pirkoh formation and that of the Habib Rahi limestone (HRL).
The offshore well, which was put in place on May 9, was completed to a deep of 790 meters within the HRL.
